So, how many  boulder areas exist in Ticino? How many boulders exist? How many problems exist?
For bouldering fans from all over the world, the Canton Ticino area is an inexhaustible treasure and is now a must. Cresciano, Chironico, Passo del Gottardo, Brione Verzasca are certainly the most famous areas, synonymous with quality … but we could also add Val Bavona, Avegno in Valle Maggia or the nearby Val Calanca in the Italian-speaking part of Graubünden. 

Additional areas are still being developed and we hope soon to be in a position to present information to our readers. We know climbers are very fond of exciting challenges and Cresciano, Chironico, Brione Verzasca or the Passo del Gottardo will certainly give them full satisfaction.
